WE'RE NOT REALLY HERE
MCFC SUPPORTERS CLUBS
The MCFC Supporters Club was formed in 1949 and following the OSC/CSA unification now has over 160 Branches with a combined membership of over 8000 based in the UK and Overseas. Membership is open to all those with a love of Manchester City FC and for your local branch is the A34 Winchester.
Tony Book, former Captain and Manager of City is our Life President. Tony accepted this role in the summer of 2006 following the death of Roy Clarke who had been our President for many, many years. We wish Tony every success in this role and we know we can count on his support in the future.
Branches offer fans the chance to meet guests from the Club, former players, attendance at the Player of the Year Awards, organised travel to home and away games along with a host of other interesting activities. So don’t hesitate to contact your local branch if interested in joining us.
We also offer our members the exclusive use of The Supporters City Room on Matchdays. This is an excellent matchday venue and offers you the chance to meet members from other branches as well as having a drink before and after the game.
The A34 branch was formerly part of the Centenary Supporters Association and the branch was formed in 1994, membership currently stands at around 50. We meet for a pint in Winchester each month and most of the members follow the team 'over land and sea (and Stretford)'. Although the main activity is to follow the team, on occasion we meet up with the team when they are down our way. Previous guests have included, the Premiership trophy, Paul Lake, Patrick Viera, Bernard Halford, Brian Kidd, Mancini (+ team), Kevin Keegan (+ team), Stuart Pearce, Uwe Rosler, Willie Donachie. We welcome new members of any age but stipulate that you must normally reside within 50 miles of Winchester. Thank you for taking the time to read this page, please take a look around our site but be aware we restrict some areas to members. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
